RIP Glen Campbell

Today a great singer, and a huge part of my childhood passed away.

I watched and rewatched the movie Rock-A-Doodle countless times as a child, and Mr. Campbell's voice would sing me to sleep via cassette tape.

However, something beautiful happened.

This evening, before finding out this tragic news, I took my dog for a walk. I saw a beautiful rainbow in the sky and took a picture. I went home and then found out the news.

After thinking about it, I remembered that at the very end of Rock-A-Doodle, Chanticleer beats the Duke using sunshine. This causes something that I had forgotten about.

In one of the final scenes of the movie, when Chanticleer realizes he's where he belongs, a rainbow appears.

Thank you Mr. Campbell for helping the sun shine in my heart.
