So, after much pondering, I have finally figured out why the new Loki show is set in the past.
Why?
In the leaked photo of Loki just standing, there is an advertisement for the movie Jaws. Jaws came out in 1975, so that's the time period I'm looking for. Something has come up from that time period as well.
A Fonz lunchbox.
The show Happy Days started airing in 1974, and would be around the same time. I was wondering why someone would have had a lunch box like that in Captain Marvel

Well, I just had my big 30th birthday party yesterday. Me and about 30 people from all times in my life took over a chunk of a restaurant lol.
For fun, I decided to have a silly card contest. I just put on my invitation that the funniest card would win a prize. The cards that people came up with were hysterical!
The winner ended up being one of my friends who found a photo of me and Photoshopped both of us on to a card with the cast of a show we both like. The best part is that there's this phantom hand on my shoulder because it was in the original photo of me. There is literally another actor's hand that did a photobomb.
